Whether you shoot with a camera or capture audio with a portable recorder, the YELANGU MIC09 cardioid shotgun microphone offers more focused sound pickup and less noise than your device’s built-in microphone. Its adjustable gain boost, low-cut filter, and 5-hour USB-rechargeable battery make it well suited for mobile journalists, vloggers, and run-and-gun videographers who need a simple mic that works with a variety of recorders. Plus, it offers a 3.5mm headphone port for easy real-time monitoring of your mic signal.

This compact and lightweight microphone features an integrated shockmount that reduces handling noise and allows attachment to a camera shoe or tripod. Use the attached coiled 3.5mm TRS cable to connect the MIC09 to your camera, or hook it up to your mobile device by using a TRS to TRRS adapter (available separately). The MIC09 comes with a foam windscreen, which delivers convenient wind noise reduction for outdoor shoots.

Quality Directional Sound Capture

The microphone’s cardioid polar pattern rejects sound behind the mic to reduce the pickup of ambient background noise. Additionally, its high sensitivity and anti-noise circuit board help the mic deliver a strong signal.

Connects to Camera and Headphones

Use the MIC09’s attached coiled cable to connect its main output to your camera’s 3.5mm mic input. A dedicated 3.5mm output is also provided for convenient headphone monitoring without having to disconnect the main output.

Adjustable Gain and Low-Cut Filter

Two knobs on the rear of the mic offer variable adjustment of the gain (0 to +20 dB) and low-cut filter. The gain control aids in optimizing your recording level while the low-cut filter can attenuate problematic bass buildup.

Internal Rechargeable Battery

An internal battery powers the MIC09 for up to five hours. It can be recharged via USB in approximately three hours.

Attaches to Camera Shoe or Tripod

The integrated shockmount not only reduces camera handling noise and vibration, but it also provides easy mounting of the mic on a cold shoe or tripod.
